4. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION FOR DEVELOPMENT OF POLICY ON LISTING OF NON-PERFORMING CONTRACTORS, SUPPLIERS AND CONSULTANTS
The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) is a State Corporation established under the
Kenya Roads Act, 2007, with the responsibility for the management, development, rehabilitation and maintenance of national roads.
This is to bring to the attention of all stakeholders and members of the public that KeNHA has prepared the draft policy on listing of non-performing Contractors, Suppliers and Consultants for possible debarment by the relevant bodies. The overall objective is to ensure that the Authority delivers it’s mandate to the highest quality standards.
In line with The Constitution Of Kenya 2010, KeNHA intends to hold half day public participation forum on Thursday 8th June, 2017 starting from 8.30 a.m. at the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD) formerly Kenya Institute of Education (KIE) Ngara, Nairobi, to receive comments on the draft policy. Those unable to attend can download the draft policy together with the feedback form from KeNHA official website; www.kenha.co.ke
We invite all stakeholders and members of the public who may wish to submit comments on the draft policy to do so in writing not later than Thursday 8th June, 2017.
