Department for Transport, and State Department of Arid and Semi-Arid Lands, have involved budget formulation, implementation, and reporting, as well as policy development in critical sectors such as education, health, and infrastructure.

His contributions extend beyond his direct roles as evidenced by his alternate directorship representing the National Treasury in other organizations such as the Commission for University Education, and South Eastern Kenya University.
