Dr. Benard Mware is a highly skilled and accomplished research scientist with broad expertise spanning molecular biology, virology, biotechnology, and public health. He boasts of a wealth of experience in diverse fields such as recombinant gene technology, RNA-mediated resistance, mutation breeding, and genomic surveillance. He has demonstrated exceptional proficiency in managing and implementing research and development projects. His extensive background in data collection, analysis, and strategic planning, coupled with his adeptness in result-based management, positions him as a valuable asset in driving impactful initiatives.

Throughout his career, Director Mware has held key roles in various organizations where he has contributed significantly to the advancement of scientific knowledge and community development. His work as a Consultant Molecular Biologist/Virologist/Biotechnologist//Genomic Surveillance at ILRI – Biosciences in Nairobi underscores his leadership and contribution to Research and Development.
