Ms. Sarah Gloria Awinja is a distinguished Kenyan real estate executive and infrastructure governance leader with over 15 years of cross-sector experience spanning property advisory, valuation, capital markets, and strategic land development across Kenya and the broader African region. She brings extensive expertise in valuation advisory, feasibility studies, investment analysis, and transactional support across both public and private sectors. Her professional background includes senior roles in reputable institutions such as Jones Lang LaSalle, Knight Frank Kenya, Old Mutual Kenya, Housing Finance Group, Regent Management, and Amazon Valuers. At KeNHA, she contributes to strategic oversight in transport infrastructure development, land acquisition frameworks, and asset governance. Her governance credentials are strengthened by training in board audit practice (ICPAK), the Senior Management Course at the Kenya School of Government, and certification as a Professional Mediator. Ms. Awinja is a registered and practicing Valuer and Estate Agent, and a professional member of the Institution of Surveyors of Kenya (ISK), where she has previously served on the Executive Committee and Council as Editorial and Public Relations Chair. She is also a founding member of Women in ISK (W.ISK) and serves as Board Member and Treasurer of Women in Real Estate Kenya (WIRE Kenya), advancing women’s leadership in the built environment. She is the Managing Director of Springtide Properties, a property consultancy firm providing valuation, feasibility, and transaction advisory services, including cross-border assignments. Ms. Awinja holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Land Economics from the University of Nairobi and is an Executive MBA candidate at Strathmore University. Ms. Gloria represents a new generation of African real estate leaders whose trajectory positions her not merely as a practitioner, but as a sector architect shaping governance, infrastructure, and real estate investment frameworks in Kenya and beyond.
